An active conductor, Elissa recently conducted Frank Ticheli’s Shenandoah with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Symphony Band under the advisement of Drs. Thomas Gamboa and Scott Corley. She is honored to have received mentorship and conduct this program alongside Cln./Prof. Jason Fettig [President’s Own/University of Michigan].

Elissa has traveled around the United States to receive mentorship from Drs. Mark Scatterday, Michael Votta, Andrea Brown, Craig Potter, Courtney Snyder Ng, Trish Cornett, and Michael Haithcock among others. She was awarded the opportunity to conduct the fourth movement of the Brahms Requiem with guidance from the late Joseph Flummerfelt as part of SUNY Potsdam’s LoKo Festival of the Arts masterclass series.

With a love and sincere interest in collaboration, Elissa is eager to continue making music with people that love making music just as much as she does.
